Always on the lookout for a good bargain ... I ran across this little gem
at the local Goodwill. Needing a nightstand for my new place in Newport Beach ...
(That's my story and I'm sticking to it.)
I was quickly drawn to this vintage icebox look. For the whopping price of
$7.00 .... sold!
I forgot to take a picture before I had removed the hinges ... but
you can use your imagination.
A little sanding ... 3 or 4 coats of white spray paint ... and
things were looking up. I decided to paint the inside red.
In the back of my mind I was inspired by a dynamite pair of Louboutin
spiked heels I lusted after a few months ago.
I think the end result was pretty darn amazing.
(Of course it doesn't take much to amaze me.)
Here is my little Louboutin Icebox in its new home.
You may recognize Louboutin's roommate ... it's the Pottery Barn Bed
I built for my daughter ... Complicated Kai.
She's on to bigger and better things ... so now ... the bed is mine again.
In case you missed it ... check out the bed's creation ... HERE.
The headboard also has a new ... temporary makeover.
FYI ... if you need a quick headboard change ... wrap it with a blanket
or soft fabric. Kai had an extra red blanket which I stretched over the headboard.
A few staples later and ... GAZINGA ... a new headboard color.
Eventually ... I will go back and do a little better ... more permanent job.
But for a quick color change ... SHORT-CUTS-R-US.
Louboutin Icebox makeover for $7.00 ... such a deal!
What do ya think?

Great job Becky, I love that you left the hardware gold.
Love this! So luxe-looking! I agree that it looks great with the gold hardware too.
