it's Taco Tuesday!
This may not be news to you ...
but a few months ago I discovered an amazing tasty taco treat .....
Carne Asada Tacos
OMG they are heaven!
Ooh ... grilled flank steak ...
4 inch white corn tortillas ... heated ... not crispy.
Let me pause here ... I wanna say I don't get the small tortillas.
I'm not complaining mind you ...
They are 4 inches of muy bueno ... but why not
the regular 8 inches of muy, muy bueno?
Do you see the size difference in the picture?
I don't get it ... but at least each taco uses two of these small tortillas.
Now I like mine plain ... just the marinated meat and the soft, warm tacos.
But there are a plethora ... yes I said plethora ... of things you can plop on top of these babies.
cilantro ... avocados ... salsa ... onions ... cheese
whatever your heart desires.
I totally don't know where these bad boys have been all my life.
I live in Bakersfield for goodness sake ... miles and miles of tacos.
The other day I saw this amazing sign. My car automatically turned in.

The menu .... I don't need it ... I know what my heart is aching for.
